Was lucky enough to get a mill also made by the Bentall company, nothing needed doing really, just connecting up to the engine with a flat belt.

Got the mill then managed to look it up in an old catalogue, seems it was meant for a 3½ to 4½ horsepower engine. Belted up it all seemed to work OK, probably find the mill won't achieve the same output rate in lbs/hr (what will I do with 200 pounds of flour an hour?) but this is not a commercial venture.

Managed to get a couple of videos of the mill grinding away, seemed to give 'flour'/meal that was wholemeal in appearance, slightly course texture but nice and soft.

That was the first run and adjusting the plates inwards more gave a finer finished product.
